Richmondshire Subscription Concerts promotes a series of high quality professional classical music concerts in a Season from late September to April in this beautiful rural area of North Yorkshire.

For the 2009-2010 season we have no increase in the cost of a Subscription (Season Ticket). For the last few years we have had over 200 subscribers and this year they will pay only £35 for SIX concerts.   Despite the name “Subscription Concerts” the concerts are open to all, with tickets for individual performances priced at £10 (£1 for full time students). A variety of venues in Richmond is used. This season five concerts are in the Zetland Christian Centre with one in the Georgian Theatre Royal. See the “Contact Us” page for location.

The Society was founded by Tom Carr and celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2008 with two performances of “The Marriage of Figaro”. Soloists were from the Royal Northern College of Music and the Cleveland Chamber Orchestra was conducted by Tim Jackson.
